March Campout — Joshua Tree Campout – March 23-28, 2008
Come to the desert this spring for our annual Joshua Tree Adventure Campout, March 23 through March 28. We’ll camp at Indian Cove Campground, group sites 7, 8 and 9 in the northern part of Joshua Tree National Park. The site is nestled in boulders that are great for climbing. There are also many hikes nearby, lots of wide-open space to enjoy, and stars to gaze at during the night. Water has to be hauled in from the ranger station at the nearby entrance to the campground. The toilets are of the “pit” variety, no showers. Sorry, no RV’s over 25 feet are allowed.The cost is only $15.00 per person for the week, firewood included.
