There's more to do at Conference than you can possibly imagine...

Sessions and Funshops
With around 125 sessions and hands-on funshops there's definitely something for everyone!  We have talks on homeschool-related topics, active and crafty workshops for the kids, thoughtful discussion topics for teens and adults. All workshops have supplies included and no pre-enrollment is needed (though you may be asked to bring something from home for a few funshops).

Exhibit Hall

We offer a large Exhibit Hall packed with vendors who sell unique items of interest to our attendees as well as informational exhibitors who have products and services to offer the homeschooling community.  We also have T-shirts and other merchandise and our Speaker Bookstore, where you can pick up items offered by our various speakers all in one place.

Ongoing Activity Areas

We have many ongoing activity areas within the conference every day!  Here are some of the areas we're expecting to have this year:

  • Children's Play Room

  • Epic Playspace and Craft Zone

  • Game Deck

  • Makerspace

  • Teen Room

  • Fiberland

Teen Program

The HSC Conference stands out because of its full teen program created by and for teens.  HSC’s teen program is one of the most extensive and exciting programs offered by any homeschooling conference in the country! This year we are planning a graduation ceremony too! Stay tuned for more information in the new year on how to sign up!

Family Dances

When the day's sessions are over, the fun is just starting!  Each evening there are at least two events - one for teens and one for families. Dances, concerts, games - each night you can expect something fun to keep you going!  It's also a great time to meet up with old and new friends and relax after a long day of activities.

Bizarre Bazaar

Join us Friday, 2:00 p.m. -  5:00 p.m. for a marketplace where attendees are encouraged to display and sell their arts and crafts.  Folks with services for sale (henna, hair braiding, Tarot card readings, or.....?) are also welcome at the Bizarre Bazaar!

If you have gently used resources you'd like to sell (books, computer or board games, puzzles, dvds, etc...), this is the time and place to do it!  Please tag all of your own items and staff your space while you are selling.  (Don't forget to bring change!)

If you are exhibiting or selling, set-up begins at 1:45 p.m. and tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  HSC will not staff or collect items for this event, nor collect any proceeds from sales.

During the final half-hour, we ask that all remaining sellers offer their items for free.
