The 2021 HSC Conference with all of the wonderful homeschooling information, cutting edge studies, dynamic speakers, engaging teen activities, and an awesome community just got better!

We will resume having this event be a fundraiser in 2022, but for now, after all of the challenges that people have been through over the past year, we bring you the JOY of lower conference pass rates from now through the 2021 conference!

Ticket Transfer Process

  • In 2021, you may sell your registration(s) to another person with a charge of $20 for each individual ticket you are transferring.

  • To begin the transfer process, confirm that you have a willing buyer and seller and have agreed upon the number of tickets being transferred. 

  • First, the buyer will visit the conference registration site to purchase a $20 Buyer transfer ticket for each registration they are buying (The types need not match (ie: adult, teen, etc).

  • After the Buyer pays the Seller the agreed-upon price, the Seller will go to the registration site and purchase the same number of Seller Transfer Tickets (these are free). Once both of these transactions have taken place, that's HSC's signal that it's ok to release the tickets to the buyer and process the transaction. 

  • The last day to request transfers via the website is 7/28/2021. All transfers after this date take place on-site. For the two weeks prior to the conference, tickets may be transferred via this process, but nametags will be printed onsite and you will only have confirmation of the completed transaction via your transfer ticket purchase until you register at conference. 

The Fine Print 

  • All registrations are non-refundable. 

 

  • Discounts are available to Work Exchange Volunteers, Speakers and Workshop Hosts.  All discounts will be applied after your participation has been confirmed at the conclusion of the conference. There is no special registration process for these types of discounts for new volunteers, so please register as early as possible to minimize your net registration upfront expense.

  • Some of our dedicated volunteers will qualify this year for a special upfront ticket price to reduce out of pocket costs. Those volunteers with 2 or more years of previous conference volunteer service who plan to volunteer in 2021 will be emailed a special discount code by our Conference Volunteer Coordinator, Tiffani Mooney prior to Black Friday. If for any reason a member receiving this discount is unable to complete their volunteer service as agreed upon, they will be invoiced for the discounted amount. 

 

  • If you are not currently a member, registering for the HSC Conference requires that you become a member of the Homeschool Association of California.  

 

  • All minors must be accompanied by a registered parent, grandparent or other PAID ADULT.
