Some volunteer positions may change accordingly.

We will work to ensure all volunteers are contribute to an area that is well suited for them.

It takes a lot of people to put on an event this big!  Have you considered being a volunteer?  There are two main ways to volunteer at the HSC Conference:

1) Give a few hours of your time to be a Basic Volunteer

2) Become a Work Exchange Team Member and GIVE 6 hours of your time and GET a huge reduction in your conference fees!

Basic Volunteer -  While we do have big jobs for the super committed, what if you just have a few hours to spare?  Please consider helping us out on site.  We need help throughout the conference in every area.  Come meet new people and be part of the conference team by volunteering on-site with some of these smaller jobs!  Click on the link below and fill out the Volunteer Info Form to join the volunteer team!

Work Exchange Team Member -  To be considered for the WE Team program, you must:

  1. Be a current HSC Member.

  2. Be available and willing to work 6 full hours during the conference.  (Or work 12 hours and get TWO reduced conference passes, one for you, and one for an immediate family member).

  3. Be registered for the conference.

  4. Apply for a position by clicking on the link below, then fill out the Volunteer Info Form.  Upon submission of this form, our Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you before the conference with more information about WE Team positions.

If accepted as a Work Exchange Team member, you will:

  1. Be assigned and expected to perform fun and engaging work shifts suited (as much as possible) to your preferences for a total of 6 hours over the course of the conference weekend.  (Please note, most shifts are during conference session hours, not lunch breaks and evenings.  Please be prepared to give up some of your conference time in order to be a part of the team AND get a great discount on your registration fees.)

  2. Earn a reduced registration rate of $10 in exchange for your 6 hours of work.  (The balance of your registration fee will be sent to you via Paypal if you have fulfilled your volunteer obligations.  If not, you will not receive a refund.)

  3. If you so choose and are approved for 12 hours, earn a reduced registration rate of $10 for your registration AND one other immediate family member for your 12 hours of work.  (The balance of your registration fee will be sent to you after the conference via Paypal if you have fulfilled your volunteer obligations.  If not, you will not receive a refund.)

  4. If the future, once you've proven yourself a reliable volunteer and excellent working part of the team, we will be happy to provide you with a discount code for next year's conference if you plan to volunteer again, so you can get that discount upfront. This is our thank you to you for being an integral part of the conference. Those who may qualify this year should contact our volunteer coordinator, Tiffani before registering. confvolunteer@hsc.org
