HSC Field Trip: Hiller Aviation Museum
This HSC members-only field trip to the Hiller Aviation Museum invites elementary-aged learners (K–5) to explore, ask questions, and discover the science of flight! Families will enjoy time to explore the museum along with a special hands-on aviation activity led by Hiller Aviation Museum staff.
Important Information
- When: Wednesday, September 23 | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Optional Picnic Lunch: After 12:00 PM — bring a packed lunch if you'd like to stay and eat with other HSC families. Outdoor picnic seating is available, and a limited selection of drinks and snacks is available for purchase.
- Where: Hiller Aviation Museum, 601 Skyway Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070
- Admission: $15 per child | $15 per adult
- Parking: Free at the museum
Admission Includes
- All-day museum admission with time to explore the museum's available exhibits.
- 45-minute group activity led by Hiller Aviation Museum staff: Children will learn about different types of aircraft, identify the parts of an airplane, and build and fly their own simple balsa glider.
- Optional museum gift shop: Families may visit the gift shop during their visit. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
