Online: My Child is Learning to Read--What should I teach next? (Oct 1)
Parents will leave with practical, easy-to-use strategies for helping their beginning reader at home. They’ll learn how to recognize the reading skills their child has already mastered, understand what skill to work on next, and create a simple step-by-step path toward stronger reading. We’ll also talk about ways to practice phonics without frustration and keep reading instruction positive and encouraging.
This session is especially helpful for parents who aren’t sure what to teach next, feel overwhelmed by the many reading resources available, or want a clearer understanding of how children develop reading skills.
