California ReLeaf, a nonprofit urban forestry organization, has a variety of lessons, activities, and challenges for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, including an California Arbor Week Poster Contest. Homeschool students can participate as a class or individually and win prizes. Lessons meet California Science Content Standards and are a great way to teach children about trees and nature.

We provide exciting and hands-on learning of the fundamentals in life science & physiology (conducted in small groups) and we also offer support for students who want guidance in exploring their own scientific questions.
